HW - Choose one of the following to do exploratory research on at home tonight, and report back to the class tomorrow: Rush-Bagot Agreement; Convention of 1818; Adams-Onis Treaty; Monroe Doctrine. Also, study for the Map of 1820 Quiz tomorrow.

Tuesday - Map Quiz, Map of 1820. Monroe Doctrine and George Washington's Farewell Address.

Wednesday - Henry Clay's "American System." Discussion and explanation, the three main points. How does the American System inspire the Industrial Revolution? HW - Chapter 7 Section 2, read p231-237, answer q's on p237 #1-4

Thursday - Industrial Revolution in America. What does the Industrial Revolution do to change the United States? How do these changes make America a world power? Spirit Day - Sports wear! Don't forget about the 3 on 3 basketball tournament today! Parent Conferences tonight.
